Critics of the trade that brought Jake Peavy to the Red Sox at the expense of Jose Iglesias now have some digital ammunition to add to their argument thanks to this amazing play turned in by the Tigers' shortstop Monday night.

Iglesais charged a slow grounder to short, managed to keep his balance and fling the ball to first in time to nab Chicago's Josh Phegley to end the sixth inning.

Xander Bogaerts can't get here soon enough.

But at least Boston does have Stephen Drew and his 12-game hitting streak at short. But with only 42 games left in the season, the ghost of Joe DiMaggio will have to wait until 2014 before it gets really nervous.
