U.S. Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney was not impressed with her individual silver medal in the vaulting competition during the 2012 Games.
Thankfully, she did win a gold in the team competition.
Her ceremonial first pitch Friday before the White Sox-Minnesota game in Chicago, however, had the best windup this side of Bugs Bunny.
After a season of ghastly ceremonial first pitches, this was a nice change of pace.
A cartwheel and a front-handspring between the pitcher's mound and home plate with enough room left over to actually throw a pitch.
Call it a "change-up spiced with a balk."
Impressive indeed, McKayla. Impressive indeed.
