He allowed just four hits and struck out five, using 86 pitches against the 22 hitters he faced. … Dan Butler led the offense, going 2-for-5 with a double and three RBIs. He has hit safely in four straight and has six multi-hit games in his last ten played. Butler is batting .447 in that span. … Xander Bogaerts went 2-for-4 with a double, walk, RBI and run. He has five doubles in his last seven games and has 22 between Portland and Pawtucket.

The home run was his first since the 2011 season. …Perkins went 2-for-4, adding a double, three RBIs and two runs.
