Diamondbacks play entrance music prank
Lost in all the hype over Hurricane Earl, Manny's return and college football's kickoff, plus a holiday weekend, was a priceless prank the Diamondbacks pulled last week.
The last-place team has some fun at the expense of second baseman Kelly Johnson when they replaced his usual entrance music with "It's Raining Men." According to Deadspin.com and other media, the prank was the brainchild of first baseman Adam LaRoche.
Check out Johnson's reaction. Classic.
We can only wonder what could have been in store for us this month had LaRoche stuck with the Red Sox for more than six games in 2009, seeing as it looks like the Diamondbacks and Red Sox are in a similar spot in the final month of the season -- out of the playoffs.
