First reaction upon hearing the news Patriots cornerback Leigh Bodden would miss the season on injured reserve: What does Chad Ochocinco think about that?
That led to the discovery of what the Bengals' receiver is promising to do if he scores a touchdown at Gillette Stadium in Week 1 when the Bengals meet the Patriots Sept. 12.
Ochocinco used Twitter pretty much from the day the NFL schedules were finalized to talk smack about matching up against Bodden in the Patriots' opener
So back to Twitter we go and here's what @OGOchoCinco said after the Bodden news broke yesterday:
@LeighBodden bruh you in my prayers on a speedy recovery, you give me hell when we play and i was looking forward to next weeks game #1luv
@LeighBodden bruh that shh was gonna be #EPIC man, i said it before and i will say it again you give a (expletive) hell, get healthy
So great, he was diplomatic and all. But the next Tweet was the real news of the day.
#promisetweet I f i am able to score week 1 in New England i will be taking the minute men rifle and firing as they do when the PATS score
We'll see what the Minutemen have to say about that.
