200raylewisIII.jpgAfter seeing the following stats for Ray Lewis III, the son of Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis, my only question was whether he threw the passes to himself for the receiving yards.

The younger Lewis had a mega-game in Florida last week, going for 504 total yards for Lake Mary Prep in a 34-7 whipping of Windermere Prep. Colleague Matt Humphrey of the Orlando Sentinel confirmed it was in fact a varsity football game.

The breakdown, according to the Sentinel:

  • 206 yards and two touchdowns on punt returns

  • 101 yards on kickoff returns

  • 104 yards rushing

  • 27 yards receiving

  • 66 yards passing (and he went 6-for-6).

Oh yeah, the sophomore also had six tackles and a pass deflection. Gotta believe Mel Kiper has this kid on a draft board somewhere.
