Golfer Tiger Woods has penned an essay for newsweek.com in which he discusses how the events of the past year have changed his life.
Woods, who went winless in golf this season, is approaching the one-year anniversary of his now-infamous car crash, which led to revelations of his infidelity and his divorce from Elin Nordegren.
Now, he says he's healing his soul and that spending time with his children is more important to him than additional practice. He admits he worried about how he'd be treated by fans when he returned to competition, and was grateful when it turned out to be more supportive than he anticipated.
