Yesterday we had video of the Metrodome's roof collapsing and snow plunging through.

Today comes the story of how Fox TV crews got the footage. According to a story in USA Today, producers who were setting up for the Giants-Vikings game heard from a Metrodome staff member that concern was high regarding the roof, so they decided to leave a camera on.

"We knew what we were looking for. This was specifically for that roof collapsing," Fox lead producer Richie Zyontz told USA Today.
