The Sloan Sports Analytics Conference brings some of sports' biggest names and most powerful people to Boston for a two-day discussion of the role of analytics in sports today.

It's being held today and tomorrow, hosted by MIT at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, and the guest speakers include Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, Toronto Maple Leafs president and general manager Brian Burke, Houston Rockets general manager Daryl Morey and Jonathan Kraft, president of the Kraft Group.

Panel discussions include topics like "Gut vs. Data: How do coaches make decisions?" and "Baseball Analytics."
