Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall is being roundly criticized today for his stance on the death of Osama bin Laden.

Mendenhall took to Twitter yesterday seemingly defending the deceased terrorist, blasting those who celebrated his death, and questioning the actual events of 9/11.

According to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, the Steelers declined comment, and Mendenhall could not be reached for a reaction. Business Insider also reports that Mendenhall  apparently deleted another Tweet that read, "I'm not convinced he was even behind the attacks we have really seen no evidence to prove it other than the gov telling us."
