New Kids on the Block singers Donnie Wahlberg and Joey McIntyre recently gave an interview to the Globe's Sarah Rodman for her story in today's paper, and while they were together, Rodman recorded on video a short segment in which Wahlberg amd McIntyre impersonate Globe sports columnists Bob Ryan and Dan Shaughnessy doing an edition of our popular Globe 10.0 video debates.

It deteriorates quickly, but it's humorous nonetheless.

My emails to Bob and Dan on whether they'd care to respond by doing a spoof of a New Kids on the Block song have so far gone unanswered.

Update, Saturday, 3:10 p.m.: Sarah Rodman gave me the lowdown on how this came about:

"It was their idea, we were just talking about the Globe/Boston.com in general, Joey said something about reading the Sports section and Donnie mentioned the Real Estate section and then he just said "we should do a Globe 10.0" and I grabbed the camera."
