Last night on "Saturday Night Live," God got his chance to answer Tim Tebow's prayers.
Well, sort of.
And He had a few almighty words for Tom Brady and Bill Belichick as well.
In the skit, Jesus, portrayed by cast member Jason Sudeikis, entered the Broncos' lockerroom as Tebow (Taran Killam) was Tebowing following the Broncos' 13-10 victory over the Bears last week.
After critiquing Tebow in front of his teammates as only the Son of God could do, Jesus turned his attention to Tebow's opponents today.
Upon being told the Broncos were playing the Patriots, Jesus replied: "Oh boy, really? Wow. OK. Did not know that. That's going to be a tough one. This doesn't leave this room, but if I'm the Son of God, Tom Brady's got to be the guy's nephew. The guy's a miracle worker."
He then turned his attention to Belichick, saying "But that coach, Belichick? Well let's just say..." At this point, Jesus held two fingers erect on his forehead, resembling the devil's horns, and began squealing like some animal.
Earlier, the best line came when Jesus was criticizing Tebow for his slow starts, thus making him interrupt his Sundays to bail Tebow out.
In referencing a recent first half, Jesus said: "Come on, 3 for 16? I can throw better, and I'm 2010 years old."
