Kenyan students reenact Bill Buckner's infamous play
Oct. 25, 1986 ranks among the worst days in Boston sports history. Kenyan students, on the other hand, loved it so much they wanted to reenact it.
Their version of the deciding moments of Game 6 of the World Series between the Red Sox and Mets shows everything from Mookie Wilson waving Kevin Mitchell home to the ball bouncing through Bill Buckner's legs with the original Vin Scully broadcast overlaid.
According to the YouTube video's description, "The students were interested in making a movie about a famous American sporting event. After watching both real clips, the students voted on Buckner's error over the 'Music City Miracle.'"
