A new integrated campaign by UGG Australia will feature Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in advertising spots and videos that launched Tuesday morning.
The campaign, titled “For ___ For Men,” will celebrate men from all walks of life who illustrate dedication, talent and passion in their day-to-day lives, according to UGG. Brady’s spot is called “For Gamechangers.”
The Brady ad depicts the quarterback starting on a team bus featuring high school football players from Junipero Serra High School, with Brady walking forward on the bus as it shifts to the high school’s baseball team. The environment then shifts to the locker room at the University of Michigan, followed by a replica of the Brady’s living room on draft day, followed by the media tunnel at the Super Bowl. Brady finishes the ad walking off the team bus and out to the stadium on game day.
On why the setting of the team bus, Brady said in an UGG press release that “the bus is one of my favorite places to be... We have this focused energy that builds as we prepare for battle and there is a sense of camaraderie you can’t find anywhere else.”
In the Boston market, UGG is including a Tall Wall of Tom Brady that is being installed on the Mass Pike near Fenway Park. The campaign will also include print and multi-media ads over the next four months, featuring four different themes: For Gamechangers, For Role Models, For Leaders, and For Mentors.
