Last year, two pressure cooker bombs killed three and injured an estimated 264 others during the Boston marathon, on April 15, 2013.

The Boston Marathon is almost here. When it comes, the nationally watched event will attract thousands of athletes, spectators and tourists to the city.

In other words, this means Boston will be a very difficult place to navigate on April 18. Boston officials are urging motorists coming into the city not to drive their personal vehicles.

In addition, parking on certain streets will be heavily restricted on streets around Back Bay on Saturday, April 16 to accommodate the Boston Athletic Association’s 5K and Invitational Mile.

Please be aware of the following traffic restrictions for Monday, April 18 provided by the City of Boston.
