Flashback: That Time When the World Champion Red Sox Were ‘Simpsons’ Characters

The much-ballyhooed “Simpsons” marathon has begun on FXX, bringing with it a notable amount of nostalgia and appreciation for the long-running sitcom. Back in 2007, when “The Simpsons Movie” made its theatrical debut, we took some of the members of the eventual World Series champion Red Sox and thrust them into the promotional generator at Simpsonizeme.com (which is now defunct). As long as we’re re-living the past, here’s what we came up with seven years ago:
