Bruins set local ratings standard on Versus

Tyler Seguin’s star turn had a large audience last night.

The Bruins’ 6-5 victory over the Lightning in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals — highlighted by rookie Seguin’s two-goal, two-assist breakthrough — earned a 14.59 household rating in Boston, the highest local rating ever for an NHL game televised on Versus.

That is up 48 percent from Game 1 of the series, which earned a 9.87 rating on Versus Saturday night.

During the window in which the game aired, Versus was the top-rated network in Boston.
