It’s official: Tim Thomas will not be in goal tonight.
Thomas is on the trip with the Panthers, but will not expected play in his return to the TD Garden as he recovers from a groin he re-injured not long after starting against the Bruins on Oct. 17.
Meanwhile, the Bruins are far more concerned with their own play, which hasn’t been good of late. The team is 1-3-1 in its last five games, and is struggling to find a rhythm for all 60 minutes.
The Bruins are searching for answers and this morning did off-ice activities instead of their usual morning skate.
