WILMINGTON — The Bruins will be without the services of Adam McQuaid in their game tomorrow at Montreal, coach Claude Julien confirmed today. McQuaid, who was the lone Bruin not on the ice during practice at Ristuccia Arena, aggravated his hip/groin injury and will not make the trip.
McQuaid previously missed eight games with the injury before returning for three games. But he apparently reinjured himself in the game against Columbus last Saturday.
Meanwhile, Torey Krug was back on the ice this morning, and while he said he’s “day to day,” he seems likely to play against the Canadiens.
“Doing well,” Julien said of Krug. “You saw him on the ice today. He’s fine. So those couple of days really helped him out a lot.”
The Bruins, who brought up defenseman Kevan Miller on an emergency recall from Providence Monday, left for Montreal after their skate this morning.
