SAN JOSE, Calif. — Welcome to the SAP Center where the Bruins are set to play the Sharks tonight. It’s a big night for the team, which gets back both Loui Eriksson and Shawn Thornton tonight. Both have missed 15 games, Eriksson with a concussion, Thornton with a suspension.
“I’m excited to be back, obviously,” Thornton said this morning. “It was a tough night to sleep for other reasons this time, which is good. I was a little excited. It’s been a long time.”
He’s not alone. Eriksson echoed that same feeling.
“For sure,” he said. “It’s been a long time, it feels like. So it’s going to be nice to be back.”
