Canadiens Take Back the Lead on Francis Bouillon Goal

The Canadiens responded strongly to the Bruins’ third period push.

Taking a pass from Brian Gionta, Francis Bouillon buried a one-timer for Montreal to take a 3-2 lead 12:09 into the final period.

The Bruins had scored two goals in the period — by Reilly Smith and Torey Krug — to tie the game up but it didn’t take long for the Candiens to make their own push. Montreal had a flurry of shots and activity in front of Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask before Bouillon buried his shot.
