Celtics forward Rasheed Wallace and some children from the Dotwell afterschool program spent some time together this afternoon as part of the Read to Achieve program. After reading to the students, Wallace and the students toured the city on a Duck Boat.

Wallace said he hasn’t spent much time in Boston since signing with the Celtics as a free agent, but the power forward said he’s looking forward to getting to know more about the city.

“So far, so good,” Wallace said of his time in Boston. “I have no complaints. Everyone’s greeted me with open arms.”
