Stoudemire will play for Knicks in Game 4

NEW YORK — Knicks forward/center Amar’e Stoudemire will start for the Knicks this afternoon in Game 4 vs. the Celtics, according to Knicks coach Mike D’Antoni. The coach said Stoudemire has been feeling better, and that he isn’t putting him out there “just to try it”. Stoudemire has been suffering from back spasms since last week. He played 33 minutes in Game 3 but was largely ineffective, putting up 7 points and 3 rebounds.

As expected, Chauncey Billups is out again today.
