Campus notables

Bentley University basketball forward Lauren Battista of North Easton (Oliver Ames) has been selected to the Academic All-District 1 team for the second straight year and is on the national ballot for Academic All-America. Battista has racked up impressive averages on and off the court for the second-ranked Falcons (20-0 through Tuesday): a 3.94 GPA along with 14.7 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.3 steals per game. . . .

Junior Alexis Schupp and freshman Sara Schupp are the first sisters to compete simultaneously for the Cornell University gymnastics team. Both attended Duxbury High.
