Westfield State College senior Megan Wolski will end her college field hockey career on a national stage on Saturday.

The Plymouth South product has been selected to play in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III Senior All-Star game at Ursinus College, just outside Philadelphia. Wolski will be the only player from New England's state schools participating.

The all-time leading scorer at Westfield State with 60 goals and 19 assists, Wolski is also three-time conference all-star and this year was selected co-offensive player of the year with Keene's Erin Dallas. Wolski moved to center forward this season after playing left wing the previous three seasons, finishing the season with 18 goals and four assists.

"Megan gives 110 percent every practice and game," Westfield coach Heather Cabral said in a release. "She dives for loose balls and never gives up on a ball going out of bounds. Megan led by example on the field and set the bar high for her teammates."

In 2005 Wolski was chosen the Massachusetts State College Athletics Conference (MASCAC) player of the year after she set a single-season record for the Owls with 19 goals and 12 assists.

As a junior, Wolski set the all-time scoring record, established by Cabral in 1992, and completed her career with 139 points, 40 more than her coach.

"Megan is definitely deserving of the honor, and I'm just glad I got to coach the person who broke my record," Cabral said.
