Davis will get more snaps
Phase one of the Boston College football season ended on Saturday with a 34-7 win over Cental Florida, which put the Eagles at 3-1 going into next week's game against Rhode Island.
It will be the last rest stop of the regular season for the Eagles, who showed signs of offensive life in the second half as they overcame a 7-3 halftime deficit with a second half mini-burst which opened up the offense for the first time this season.

"The more you play, the more you learn about our team,''said Jagodzinski. "I thought the defense did a fantastic job. It was put in precarious positions and answered the bell . We found a little bit of offense in the second half.''
Jagodzinski said that backup QB Dominique Davis, who came in twice in the first half in place of starter Chris Crane, will continue to get snaps as he did against Central Florida.

Jagodzinski said he would like Davis to get approximately 20 snaps in each game for the remainder of the season.
"I'm not going to be in the position where our starting QB hasn't had any snaps,'' he said. "If we get him 20 snaps a game, that's about 180 (for the season) and that's pretty good.''
For now, Crane will remain as the BC starter.
In addition to Davis, a redshirt freshman, Jagodzinski also had praise for freshman running back Montel Harris, who had 112 yards on 13 carries, as well as other freshman such as Donnie Fletcher, who had an interception,
