Eagles earn ACC honors
Boston College won the Atlantic Coast Conference Atlantic Division on Saturday, and this afternoon the awards started to come to the 9-3 Eagles.
Three Eagles earned first-team all-ACC honors. Left guard Clif Ramsey was selected on offense and linebacker Mark Herzlich and defensive tackle B.J. Raji made the first team on defense.
Tight end Ryan Purvis and tackle Anthony Castonzo were second-team selections, as was defensive tackle Ron Brace.
Center Matt Tennant, safety Paul Anderson, and guard Thomas Claiborne earned honorable mention.

BC linebacker Robert Francois was named the ACC Defensive Back of the Week, while Billy Flutie was named Special Teams Player of the Week.

I am so happy the Boston College Eagles beat Maryland on Saturday i went to the game with my mom, dad, and brother. I saw my cousin, his brother and my uncle their also and my cousin friend too. I also hang out with my boyfriend during the 3rd and most of the 4th quater at the football game. I am going to watch BC play Virgina Tech on Saturday it had better be on TV. GO BC! GO BOYS I want you guys so bad to hurt Taylor for good! I want the score to be BC 40- Virgina Tech 7.
