BC posts 100 pct. grad rate in 21 sports

Boston College might not be having the best of years on the field in football this season--the Eagles are 2-5 going into Saturday's game with Clemson--but academically, the Eagles are BCS and national championship worthy.
In the latest, Graduation Succes rates scores released by the NCAA this afternoon, 21 of the Eagles athetic teams had a GSR score of 100 ,which was more than any other Division 1 program for the second consecutive year.,
Among FBS institutes, the Eagles finished sixth wit a GSR score of 90, trailing only Notre Dame (96), Duke (95), Northwestern (95), Rice (93) and Navy (92). The graduation rates, which accounts for transfer students and mid-year enrollees is based on the four freshman entering freshman classes from 2000-2001 through 2003-04.
The BC men's basketball team posted a GSR of 88.
The 21 BC teams that recorded a perfect GSR score of 100 included men’s baseball, fencing, golf, sailing, skiing, swimming and tennis along with women’s basketball, cross country/track, rowing, fencing, field hockey, golf, ice hockey, lacrosse, sailing, skiing, soccer, softball, swimming and volleyball.
