Although he has practiced all week, don't expect to see much of Boston College quarterback Chase Rettig for Saturday's game at North Carolina State,
Rettig, who made his collegiate debut last week in a 31-13 loss to Notre Dame, but sprained his left ankle, was listed as doubtful by BC coach Frank Spaziani this afternoon.
With Rettig out, Spaziani watched practice this afternoon and then decided to go back to Dave Shinskie as his starter.
Shinskie started the first three games of the season before being replaced by Rettig before the game against Notre Dame.,
Another looming prolem may come on defense where linebacker Mark Herzlich came out for practice this afternoon with his left hand in a bigger cast than it was on Wednesday
"He's proabable,'' said Spaziani, when asked about Herzlich, who broke some bones in his hand during a drill in practice on Tuesday
