Harrison Barnes was named first-team All-American, not bad for a guy who hasn't played a game for North Carolina. I can't imagine many voters have seen him play but most probably didn't see Kevin Durant and John Wall play and those two became All-Americans as freshman. I guess everyone's trying to anticipate. I am looking forward to play, then I'll have an opinion. The Heels open vs. Lipscomb Nov. 12. I'll skip that one but I'll catch one of their games in the Puerto Rico tournament the week after that.
