In what can only be described as a major shake-up, Boston College coach Frank Spaziani announced today that senior safety Dominick LeGrande was transferring.

LeGrande's departure follows the dismissal earlier this week of starting strong safety Okechukwu Okoroha.

With both starters off the team, the Eagles will open the season against Northwestern next week with new faces at safety from a group that includes junior Jim Noel, redshirt freshman Sean Sylvia, former WR Hampton Hughes, and redshirt freshman Dominique Williams.

Also in the mix (at cornerback) is true freshman Al Louis-Jean, who enrolled at BC in the winter after an all star career at Brockton High School.
