Tip-off time: Trying to decide what to watch and what to record on opening night this Friday. Knowing me, I'll land on Saint Peter's-Rutgers and record Lehigh-Baylor. How's that sound? Good, but there's also Marquette-Ohio State and Georgetown-Florida. Forget another episode of Blue Bloods, I'll be channel surfing. Still upset that DirecTV doesn't have Pac-12 network yet. Let's get that solved.

Meanwhile, Sully's Court preseason All-Americans:

Cody Zeller, Indiana: Talk about the big fundamentals, he's got all the tools and a chance to be national player of the year.

Trevor Mbakwe, Minnesota: Overlooked because he missed last season with an injury (and then there's that DUI). Despite that, he's the best low-post player in the country; I expect a huge season from him. He'll lead the Gophers to the tournament.

Doug McDermott, Creighton: If you really emphasize defense then maybe he doesn't deserve this. Offensively, he's incredibly versatile, scoring inside (with either hand) and out (a dangerous 3-point shooter). Smart player too.

Mike Moser, UNLV: This is going to be a breakout year for him and his team. Lean and mean, he can score off anyone slashing to the basket.

Isaiah Canaan, Murray State: He had an All-American year last season when Murray State won its first 23 games. Great 3-point shooter and dangerous in transition. He doesn't have the same supporting cast, but the Racers will still be tough.
