Games Iím looking forward to this weekend before Sullyís Court goes on a brief hiatus because my real job calls. (Games listed in order of tip-off, not importance)
Michigan at Wisconsin: The Wolverines only lasted one week at No. 1; this is another road game thatís probably a loss.
Akron at Miami of Ohio: Iíve gotten to really like this Akron team; theyíre replacing Murray State in my heart.
Arkansas at Vanderbilt: How bad can Arkansas be on the road? This might answer that question.
North Carolina at Miami: The Heels are really underdogs, but I bet itís close. At least it will be sold out (unless itís really sunny and warm).
Kansas at Oklahoma: Somebody has to pay for that loss to TCU and itís Oklahoma.
Memphis at Southern Mississippi: A big Conference USA matchup and I havenít seen Southern Miss yet. Would be a huge win for the Fightiní Favres.
Iowa State at Oklahoma State: Two upwardly mobile teams, should be highly competitive. You know whatís disappointing? How poorly Okie State draws. Lots of empty seats for the Baylor game earlier this week and it was a big overtime victory for the Cowboys.
Saint Louis at Richmond: Half-court basketball at its best. Grind, grind, grind.
Pitt at Cincinnati: The Panthers havenít been great on the road and I doubt that will change, but still should be physical and close.
Stanford at Arizona State: Stanford had a chance at Arizona and couldnít cash in. The Cardinal needs this one.
Louisville at Notre Dame: The Irish seem to be going south. When we think theyíre done, here come the Irish again. Iím thinking upset.
New Mexico at UNLV: I expect a high-scoring, highly emotional game in front of a big crowd. Vegas needs this game more.
Virginia at Maryland: These teams are at the same level, a chance for one to separate itself.
Indiana at Ohio State: Is this where No. 1 loses on the road again? I say no.
Holy Cross at Lehigh: A chance to see Lehigh without C.J. McCollum.
St. Johnís at Syracuse: The Redmen have really improved, but probably not enough to win this game.
Illinois at Minnesota: Two teams that have had some great moments this season. A crossroads matchup for sure.
Duke at BC: The Eagles are in tough spot here, but still need to check it out.
