Moments after saying that, some of the first groups waiting outside were let into the center. Aboushi was there to greet them.

‘‘This was the next big thing on my calendar,’’ he said. ‘‘I was prepping myself for it and busy getting everybody on board with it. I was anxious about it, but the day for me to help is finally here.’’end of story marker
