Brown 28, Rhode Island 20 - Kyle Newhall threw three touchdown passes as the host Bears (1-2) held off the Rams (1-3) for their first win of the season.
Newhall was 14 of 26 for 170 yards, and Buddy Farnham had five catches for 100 yards and two scores.
Penn 30, Dartmouth 24 - Lyle Marsh rushed for 130 yards, Andrew Samson kicked three field goals, and the visiting Quakers (1-2, 1-0 Ivy League) extended the Big Green’s losing streak to 15 games.

Tufts 15, Bates 7 - Tom McManama completed only 6 of 12 passes for 112 yards, but two went for touchdowns, including a 71-yard strike to Pat Bailey in the fourth quarter that ensured the visiting Jumbos (1-1) the win over the Bobcats (0-2).
Amherst 13, Bowdoin 12 - Brandon Bullock caught a 12-yard TD pass from Alex Vetras with 2:47 to go to lift the host Lord Jeffs (2-0) over the Polar Bears (1-1).
