Kyle Derham caught a 6-yard touchdown pass from Kyle Olson in overtime as Penn defeated Brown, 14-7, yesterday in Providence.
The game was the 1,300th for Penn (5-2, 4-0 Ivy League), the first program to reach that milestone.
The Quakers held the Ivy’s top offense in check. The Bears (4-3, 2-2), who came in averaging 413.8 yards and 28.5 points per game, finished with 304 yards.
Penn opened the scoring on a fumble recovery by Luke DeLuca in the first quarter. Brown answered with a 42-yard interception return for a TD by A.J. Cruz.
Yale 23, Columbia 22 - Pat Witt threw for two touchdowns and the Bulldogs scored three times in the fourth quarter to rally from a 12-point deficit and beat the Lions in New York.
Yale (4-3, 2-2) trailed, 22-10, with 8:32 left before Alex Thomas capped a 63-yard drive with a 5-yard run and Witt threw 10 yards to A.J. Haase with 58 seconds left for the decisive score.
Columbia (2-5, 1-3) lost its fourth straight.
Princeton 17, Cornell 13 - Trey Peacock pulled in an over-the-shoulder catch and ran it in for a 78-yard TD with 6:22 left as the Tigers (2-5, 1-3) edged the Big Red (2-5, 1-3) in Princeton, N.J.
The winning score came after Cornell’s Brad Greenway missed a 27-yard field goal wide left.
