Former Boston College quarterback Dominique Davis has solidified the next move in his football career with the announcement that he will play next season at East Carolina.
“He did commit to East Carolina,’’ said Jeff Sims, the coach at Fort Scott (Kan.) Community College, where Davis is playing this season, in an e-mail yesterday.
Davis has guided Fort Scott to a 9-0 record and a playoff berth, throwing for 1,042 yards with 6 touchdowns and 7 interceptions.
The 6-foot-4-inch, 198-pounder from Lakeland, Fla., took over the Eagles’ offense last season after Chris Crane suffered a fractured collarbone and was No. 1 on the depth chart in the spring before he left school for academic reasons.
