The Boston College women’s basketball team has endured a rough stretch.

And it continued on Thursday night against second-ranked Notre Dame.

Kayla McBride scored 21 points, and the Fighting Irish used a 14-0 run late in the first half to take command en route to a 82-61 victory over the Eagles at Conte Forum.

BC has now lost nine of its last 11 games, a run that began with a 42-point loss at Notre Dame Jan. 9.

Kat Cooper scored 13 points, Katie Zenevitch had 12 with eight rebounds, and Nicole Boudreau registered a career-high seven assists for the Eagles (12-13, 3-9 ACC).

BC was without leading scorer Kristen Doherty, who sat out for precautionary reasons with concussion symptoms.
