10. Maine (2-11-2, 1-7-2) — The Black Bears are winless at Alfond Arena (0-6-2), which is unheard of. Granted, the team lost a lot of firepower up front, but no one could have foreseen how much of an offensive struggle it would be. The team’s power play, which bailed it out of many games last season, is flat-out terrible this year. In the final game of the semester, Maine played well against BU but suffered a 1-0 setback. Although freshman forward Devin Shore has provided some optimism, the second half stands to be a long road back. The Black Bears need to play less of an East-West game and more North-South. Grade: D-minus.
