The Atlantic Coast Conference's highest-scoring team had its way against the conference's best defense.

LaToya Pringle had 18 points and 11 rebounds, and third-ranked North Carolina shot 51.6 percent from the field in a convincing 93-76 victory over No. 11 Duke last night in Durham, N.C., that broke the Tar Heels' two-game losing streak to their Tobacco Road rivals.

Freshman Cetera DeGraffenreid also scored 18 points and Rashanda McCants added 15 for North Carolina (20-2, 7-0), which routinely generated open looks against a Duke team that was holding opponents to 34.5 percent shooting. The Tar Heels also had a 43-34 rebounding edge.

Wanisha Smith scored 17 points and Chante Black had 15 for Duke (16-6, 5-2), which allowed a season-high point total. It was the Tar Heels' most points ever at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
