Back in 2007, DeMar DeRozan was your average Rivals.com freak of nature, dunking on high school kid after high school kid. People would chop up his highlights and put them up on YouTube, set to one of West Coast rap's signature anthems, "Straight Outta Compton," because he had earned his stripes at Compton High.
