The Terriers (18-13, 12-4) were up, 57-54, in the final minute of regulation before Joey Accaoui nailed a 3-pointer with 44 seconds left to force overtime.

A 3-point play by Dom Morris gave BU a 61-59 lead with 1:49 left in overtime. Matt Griffin and Patrick Hazel combined to go 3 of 4 from the free throw line in the final 42 seconds to seal it for the Terriers.

Sandro Carissimo scored 17 points and Brian Voelkel added 12 for the Catamounts (22-7, 13-3).

Hartford 62, New Hampshire 54 — Joe Zeglinski scored 22 points as the host Hawks beat the Wildcats.

The victory gives Hartford (10-19, 7-9 America East) the sixth seed in this week’s conference tournament and a berth opposite third-seeded Maine. New Hampshire (12-17, 6-10) lost its third in a row and fell to the seventh seed, which means the Wildcats will play BU.

Ohio State 82, Indiana 61 — Deshaun Thomas, last year’s Indiana Mr. Basketball, came out of a slump with 22 points to lead the No. 2 Buckeyes past the visiting Hoosiers for the sixth straight time.

William Buford added 15 points for Ohio State (27-2, 14-2 Big Ten). Verdell Jones III had 14 points for Indiana (12-17, 3-13), the only Big Ten team without a road win this season (0-10).

Louisville 62, Pittsburgh 59 — Kyle Kuric scored 12 points, including two big baskets in overtime, and the No. 16 Cardinals upset the No. 4 Panthers in Louisville.

Peyton Siva led the Cardinals (22-7, 11-5 Big East) with 14 points, while Gilbert Brown scored 20 points and Brad Wanamaker had 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists for Pittsburgh (25-4, 13-3).

Purdue 67, Michigan State 47 — JaJuan Johnson had 20 points, 17 rebounds, and 7 blocks to lead the Boilermakers over the host Spartans for their sixth straight win and into contention for the Big Ten title.

Purdue (24-5, 13-3) swept Michigan State (16-12, 8-8) for the first time since 1997.

Wisconsin 78, Northwestern 63 — Jon Leuer scored 26 points and the No. 12 Badgers beat the Wildcats, securing a 16-0 record at the Kohl Center this season.

Wisconsin (22-6, 12-4 Big Ten) has won seven of eight. Michael Thompson scored 19 points for Northwestern (16-12, 6-11).

UConn 67, Cincinnati 59 — Kemba Walker scored 11 of his 16 points in the second half and the No. 14 Huskies pulled away late to snap a two-game losing streak, beating the host Bearcats.

UConn (21-7, 9-7 Big East) hasn’t lost three in a row all season. It led for all but 29 seconds against Cincinnati (22-7, 9-7), but never by enough to get comfortable.

North Carolina 87, Maryland 76 — Tyler Zeller scored 25 points while freshman Harrison Barnes had 21 to help the No. 19 Tar Heels beat the visiting Terrapins and pull into a tie with Duke atop the ACC.

Leslie McDonald added 15 points off the bench for North Carolina (22-6, 12-2). Terrell Stoglin scored a season-high 28 points to lead Maryland (18-11, 7-7).

Xavier 66, Dayton 62 — Tu Holloway scored 26 points, hitting the biggest shots down the stretch and helping the No. 25 Musketeers beat the host Flyers and remain alone atop the Atlantic 10.

Xavier (22-6, 13-1) retained its one-game lead over Temple heading into the final week of the regular season. It has won at least a share of four straight regular-season titles. Dayton (19-10, 7-7) trailed by 11 before a late comeback tied it at 59.

NEWMAC final — Will Tashman scored 17 points and MIT missed only three shots from the field in the second half, winning the conference tournament title with a 63-52 victory at top-seeded WPI (22-5). MIT (19-8) got 13 points from Mitchell Kates and Billy Bender, winning the conference tournament for the second time in three years and clinching an automatic berth in the NCAA Division 3 tournament.

NESCAC final — Nolan Thompson led four players in double figures with 15 points as visiting Middlebury upset top-ranked Williams, winning the conference tournament final, 63-54. Ryan Sharry added 14 points and 12 rebounds, Joey Kizel had 13 points, and Jake Wolfin 12 for the Panthers (25-1), who avenged a loss to the Ephs (25-2) in last year’s conference tournament final, taking the title for the second time in three seasons. Troy Whittington led Williams with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Women Baylor 82, Oklahoma 81 — Odyssey Sims matched a school record with nine 3-pointers and had 37 points, including the go-ahead basket with 8.3 seconds left that helped the third-ranked Bears (26-2, 13-1 Big 12) beat the No. 16 Sooners (19-9, 9-5) in Norman, Okla.

Tennessee 80, LSU 60 — Angie Bjorklund scored 17 points and the No. 4 Lady Volunteers (28-2, 16-0) handled the visiting Tigers (18-12, 8-8), completing their ninth undefeated run through Southeastern Conference play.

Texas A&M 68, Texas 65 — Danielle Adams scored 26 points and the No. 5 Aggies (24-3, 12-2 Big 12) beat the host Longhorns (17-11, 6-8) for the 10th consecutive time.

Xavier 73, Temple 66 — Amber Harris had 26 points and 12 rebounds, and the No. 6 Musketeers (25-2, 14-0) beat the host Owls (22-7, 13-1) and clinched the top seed in the Atlantic 10 tournament.

Duke 66, North Carolina 58 — Jasmine Thomas scored 17 points and the No. 9 Blue Devils (26-3, 12-2) defeated the No. 13 Tar Heels (22-7, 8-6) at home, clinching the top seed in the ACC tournament.

Georgia State 57, Northeastern 44 — Deanna Kerkhof scored 15 points, but a 15-0 run gave the host Panthers (11-17, 6-11 Colonial Athletic) an early comfortable cushion against the Huskies (8-20, 3-14).

NEWMAC final — Kathleen King scored 23 points and Nicki Wurdeman added 21, sending Babson, ranked No. 4 in the country, to its third straight conference tournament title, 74-49, over Smith (17-10). The Beavers (27-0) advance to the NCAA Division 3 tournament on a school-record win streak.

NESCAC final — Caroline Stedman scored 23 points and Jaclyn Daigneault added 19, helping Amherst repeat as conference tournament champions with a 72-37 win over visiting Bowdoin. The Lord Jeffs (26-1) handed the Polar Bears (22-5) their first loss in nine trips to the conference tournament championship game.

Northeast-10 first round — Caitlin Quinn scored 15 points, leading Saint Michael’s (16-10) to a 74-59 win over visiting UMass-Lowell (9-18), which was led by Bianca Simmons’s 15 points . . . Pace (22-7) easily advanced to the quarterfinals by smothering Saint Anselm (11-16), 58-35, behind 13 points from Brittany Huggins . . . Christine Duffy’s layup with 25 seconds left gave Southern New Hampshire (12-15) a 59-58 win at Stonehill (17-11). The Penmen advance to a quarterfinal with top-seeded Bentley tomorrow . . . Rhea Pascal’s 17 points powered American International (19-9) over visiting Merrimack (10-17), 61-51.
