Central Michigan defeats Dartmouth 65-48 in Alaska

ANCHORAGE, Alaska—Trey Zeigler had 21 points and 10 rebounds as Central Michigan defeated Dartmouth 65-48 Saturday in the consolation championship game of the Great Alaska Shootout.

The Chippewas (4-2) scored the first eight points and were ahead 16-4 less than eight minutes into the game. The Big Green (2-4) got within 43-37 with 10 minutes remaining, but Central Michigan pushed the lead back into double figures for good at 48-38 with 7:54 left.

Olivier Mbaigoto had 10 points, nine rebounds and five blocked shots for Central Michigan. Derek Jackson added 11 points and Austin McBroom scored 10.

David Rufful led Dartmouth with 15 points. John Golden had 13 points and a team-high six rebounds.
