The win ended Florida Gulf Coast's bid to become the first unbeaten champion since North Dakota State in 1995.
Katie Schrader hit a layup for Florida Gulf Coast (34-1) that tied the game at 42 with 9:30 remaining, but the Eagles went cold, scoring just once after that.
