WACO, Texas—Brittney Griner scored 16 points with eight rebounds and four blocked shots in only 18 minutes and No. 1 Baylor won 94-24 in an exhibition game Monday night against Western State College, an NCAA Division II team from Colorado.

Destiny Williams had 20 points and seven rebounds in 20 minutes for the Lady Bears. Sophomore guard Odyssey Sims had eight points, six assists and six steals while playing less than a full half.

Baylor scored the first eight points of the game and led 53-13 at halftime.

Freshman Jaylan Spencer had 10 points to lead Western State, which was only 9-of-60 shooting (15 percent).

Baylor has one more exhibition game before the season opener Nov. 11 at home against Howard.
