EAST LANSING, Mich.—Tayler Hill scored 21 points to help No. 11 Ohio State beat Michigan State 64-56 on Sunday.

Ohio State (17-1, 4-1 Big Ten) handed the Spartans (12-6, 4-1) their first loss in the conference.

Hill made a 3-pointer to put the Buckeyes ahead with 3 minutes left in the first half they didn't give up the lead.

Ohio State enjoyed some 11-point cushions in the second half and led 54-44 with 7-plus minutes left in the game.

After Michigan State pulled within three points for a second time in the final minutes, Samantha Prahalis made a jumper and two free throws to give Ohio State a seven-point lead with 35 seconds left. Prahalis finished with 15 points.

Courtney Schiffauer scored 12, Becca Mills had 11 points and Lykendra Johnson added 10 points for the Spartans.

Ohio State's Darryce Moore had 11 points and Amber Stokes scored 10.
