Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis scored 23 points and third-ranked Connecticut got its 99th consecutive home victory, beating No. 14 Georgetown, 80-38, yesterday at Gampel Pavilion.
Bria Hartley added 18 points for UConn (23-2, 11-1 Big East), which held the Hoyas to 25 percent shooting and 24 points below their season average.
Sugar Rodgers and Rubylee Wright each had 10 points for Georgetown (19-6, 8-4), which lost for the first time in five games.
The Hoyas led, 12-11, midway through the first half before UConn took over, outscoring the Hoyas, 51-14, over the next 20 minutes.
Connecticut hasn’t lost at home since the final of the 2007 Big East tournament, and has won 51 consecutive regular-season conference games at home.
Baylor 71, Texas A&M 48 - Brittney Griner scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as the top-ranked Lady Bears (25-0, 12-0 Big 12) got off to a quick start and avenged their last loss, beating the No. 15 Aggies (17-6, 8-4) in Waco, Texas, in their first meeting since last year’s NCAA Tournament.
Green Bay 64, Wright St. 59 - Julie Wojta had career highs of 30 points and 20 rebounds and the No. 9 Phoenix (21-1, 11-1 Horizon) bounced back from their first loss to edge the visiting Raiders (16-9, 9-4).
BU 56, Stony Brook 31 - Caroline Stewart had 15 points and 10 rebounds, Rashidat Agboola added 11 points, 15 boards, and 4 blocked shots, and the host Terriers shut down the Seawolves to stay unbeaten in America East play.
Chantell Alford contributed 11 points and seven rebounds for BU (19-6, 12-0), which held Stony Brook to 24 percent shooting.
Princeton 84, Harvard 56 - Brogan Berry scored 21 points and Christine Clark added 17 points and 11 rebounds, but the visiting Tigers (17-4, 7-0 Ivy) raced to a 19-point halftime lead and breezed past the Crimson (12-9, 5-2).
Temple 77, UMass 50 - Jasmine Watson scored 13 points but the host Owls (16-8, 9-1 A-10) had five double-figure scorers to rout the Minutewomen (6-19, 1-9).
UNH 58, Vermont 48 - Denise Beliveau scored 17 points and the host Wildcats (13-11, 6-6 America East) beat the Catamounts (9-17, 3-10) to sweep the season series for the first time since 1998-99.
Hartford 67, Binghamton 58 - Daphne Elliott and Nikkia Smith combined for 44 points and the host Hawks (16-10, 7-5 America East) held off the Bearcats (12-14, 6-7).
Albany 68, Maine 55 - Samantha Baranowski had 13 points and nine rebounds, but the host Great Danes (17-9, 11-2 America East) took control with a 9-4 run to end the first half and eased past the Black Bears (6-19, 3-9).
American 67, Holy Cross 47 - Freshman Emily Parker scored 17 points, but the Patriot League-leading Eagles (18-6, 10-0) pulled away in the second half to rout the Crusaders (13-12, 4-6) in Washington.
Providence 62, Seton Hall 47 - Rachel Barnes led a balanced attack with 14 points and the host Friars (13-12, 5-7 Big East) cruised past the Pirates (7-19, 0-12).
Brown 60, Cornell 49 - Sheila Dixon scored 16 points and added five steals as the host Bears (14-8, 5-3 Ivy) got past the Big Red (9-12, 3-4).
Penn 73, Dartmouth 63 - Sasha Dosenko scored 14 points for the Big Green (3-18, 1-6) and scored with 22 seconds left to force overtime but the visiting Quakers (9-12, 2-5) dominated the extra session.
Yale 73, Columbia 59 - Megan Vazquez hit 6 of 8 3-pointers and finished with 28 points to power the host Bulldogs (14-8, 6-2 Ivy) past the Lions (2-19, 0-7).
La Salle 49, Rhode Island 45 - The visiting Explorers (12-14, 6-4) closed the game with a 7-0 run to keep the Rams (1-24, 0-10) winless in Atlantic 10 play. Corinne Coia led Rhode Island with 13 points and five rebounds.
Sacred Heart 79, Bryant 64 - Gabrielle Washington scored 21 points and reserves Blair Koniszewski and Morgan Merriman combined for 27 points and nine rebounds as the host Pioneers (18-6, 11-2 Northeast) erased a 5-point halftime deficit and roared past the Bulldogs (13-11, 6-7).
Quinnipiac 64, Central Conn. 59 - Felicia Barron tallied 20 points and the visiting Bobcats (18-6, 10-3 NEC) dispatched the Blue Devils (11-13, 5-8).
Bentley 54, Southern N.H. 53 - Lauren Battista finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds and hit the go-ahead layup with 5.5 seconds left to power the visiting Falcons (21-3, 7-2 Northeast-10), ranked No. 7 in Division 2, past the Penwomen (17-8, 12-7).
Amherst 80, Middlebury 50 - The Lord Jeffs (24-0, 10-0 NESCAC), ranked No. 1 in Division 3, wrapped up their second perfect regular season by routing the visiting Panthers. Freshman Megan Robertson led the way, finishing with 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 blocks in 17 minutes off the bench.
Babson 73, Smith 65 - Sarah Collins had 20 points and a career-high 17 rebounds to the 18th-ranked Beavers (20-2, 16-0 NEWMAC) to the home win.![]()
