ST. LOUIS --- Hey, it happens.

I extend my apology to the students and fans of the University of Northern Iowa, whose location I bungled yesterday.

I saw the word "Cedar," and mind immediately attached the word "Rapids" rather than "Falls." So sorry.

I'm doubly sorry because I said the school was not, like other cuddly mid-majors, located in a "bucolic" location. It seems people feel that Cedar Falls is quite bucolic.

Of course, what really matters is that wherever they're from, Northern Iowa is very good team that has a realistic chance of advancing to the Final Four.

Go Panthers!
