Saturday 5-ish
Great college hoops this afternoon -- how Syracuse hung on to win I'll never know, although it seems that the entire team is made up of the sons of guys who played there. North Carolina couldn't guard a hat-rack at this point and there is no better analyst on TV right now than Bill Raftery. Note to ESPN -- if you want to make the college basketball GameDay as good as the college football Game Day, put Raf on the set, bring back Tom Brennan, and send the insufferable Little Richie Phelps off to the Old Blowhard's Home. This week, we learned that Little Richie is still tormented by the fact that he passed on the opportunity to make the DePaul progam All About Him. What. A. Tool.
Anyway, after that, the Saints and Cardinals certainly started at Warp 5. Reggie Bush could be the difference maker throughout the playoffs, if he manages to hold onto his inner Earl Campbell the way he has.
Both Martha and Scott can shut up now.

“Still too early, but I share the concern. Would love to see the eventual second unit guys – Baby, Jeff Green, Arroyo, West and probably Kristic – get to play together. Rondo looks exhausted and it would be helpful if Doc could cut back his minutes.
Also, I strongly suspect there were concerns that Perk was not the same player anymore.”

“Packer was serious about hoops. I knew it was a big game when Musberger/Nantz would call a game with Packer. He was old school so he took delight in fundamentals such as a pick/roll or boxing out a rebounder. I'm still a young kid, but I enjoyed his analysis.”
