Pan challenge

This is a pretty cool HD time-lapse video of Fenway Park by local photographer Tom Guilmette, who set up a slow-panning camera near the new Coca Cola section of the park.

"I set the camera to 1080p 30p and ran the interval recording at 1 frame per ten seconds of time elapsed. These settings turned a 7 hour 15 minute event into a 1 minute and 27 second time lapse. The pan head moved about 160 degrees, left to right," he wrote on vimeo.com. "Surprisingly, no drunk fans interfered with the time lapse during the seven plus hours of recording."

The fact that he set the video to music other than Neil Diamond or The Dropkick Murphys makes us like it even more.

  1. Eric!!! How dare you insult that traditions of the Dropkick Murphys and Neal Diamond, Those are two of the big reasons why people go to Fenway. I love doing the wave with my pink hat to either Tessie or Shipping Up To Boston and Sweet Caroline is the highlight to any true Socks fan..SO GOOD...SO GOOD!!!!!!!
